How to Crush Your Goals

How to Crush Your Goals
The thought of crushing your goals is an empowering feeling, but sometimes it can lead you to have thoughts of self-doubt. We’re here to help you reach your goals, whether they are fitness and health related or not! Tune in for a guide on what you can do to make your goals more attainable and how to stay motivated to achieve them!
  1. Shoot for the stars, but have a realistic breakdown of how to get there
Have you ever questioned your ability to reach a goal because of how unrealistic it may seem at the time? If you answered yes to that question, here is what you can do: Set smaller realistic goals to get there, take everything one step at a time. As Theodore Roosevelt said, “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
2. Write your goal down
It may sound silly, but writing your goals down by hand may help you stick to them. Writing them down can help you visualize yourself achieving your goals as well as make the goals more clear.
3. Reward yourself
Small progress is still progress. Encourage yourself to keep going by giving yourself rewards for achieving milestones within your final goal.
4. Don’t forget why you started
Feel like giving up? Think back to why you started in the first place. Think about what the end goal is and how much progress you’ve made. You’ll thank yourself later for not giving up! You chose this goal for a reason, stick to it!
5. Make it a habit
Small changes every day create huge results. This change in your routine may be discouraging at first, but keep it up until it becomes natural for you. You’ll forget what it was like before you started incorporating these habits into your life to reach whatever goal.
6. Share your goals with others
Having someone to keep you accountable makes more of an impact than you think. Work towards this goal with a buddy, and have them cheer you on for making progress!
7. Take the first step
Last but not least, take the first step. Your goals aren’t going to be accomplished without putting in the work!
“The only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.” — Michelle Obama
